Your components:

flat parts of cast, e.g. hot plates; flat steel and steel strips from reel to reel; aluminium and steel profiles; square and oval tubes; stamped parts, e.g. cutlery blanks and typewriter keys, part of clocks and sewing machines; cap levers, slide gauges and measuring rods; saw blades and knife handles; artificial rods, e.g. bars of acrylic glass or calculating slide.

Your requirements:

finishing the surface, e.g. as preparation for chrome-plating; scale removing of flat steel; removing of stamping and other burrs; flat grinding of flange areas of cast parts; roughing of profiles or steel strips as adhesion preparation for coating; achieving a decorative brush finish; stock removal when grinding, e.g. for plates.

automatic component throughfeed with conveyer belt running over a plane table support

Our solution:

automatic operation of belt grinding or polishing heads with coolant or compo infeed equipment

Fig.1

automatic component in and outfeed in case this additional automation is necessary.

The components are fed forward by an endless conveyer belt over a plane table support and below the belt grinding, brushing or polishing stations. The number and equipment of the station depends on the required work task. As can be seen in the lay out figure 2, most flat grinding machines are equipped with several grinding and two brushing or polishing stations. Thus from rough to fine grinding in a continuous throughfeed, the best grinding result can be achieved when using abrasive belts of different grits, fleece and finish belts.
