More then only a ‚‚polishing machine’’:

Quality and technique of a GREIF buffing machine protect the unsurpassed long-term value.

Everything from sturdy material

That GREIF no cheap work operates, proves already the piece weight of each machine model. Machine stands and crankshaft housings are sturdy casting bodies, which contribute to the quiet running and isolation of the machines substantially. The engines possess cast-on stocks cover plates for better sealing approximately  polishingdeaf and prevent by their power also with high polishing pressure disk stop.

The form is not only formality

The harmonious alignment,  which you find by GREIF also in the detail, certainly not only aesthetics, but above all the function of the buffing machines. Thus the modern engine  design is characterised the edges by the combination of square cross sections in  two levels with overlaying circular arcs of different radii, by which a substantially larger surface than with is achieved a cylindrical engine. The  consequence is an optimal heat emission to surrounding air.

Strong, precisely and long-lived: the GRElF engine

GRElF engines run also after 50.000 operation hours problem-free. Each particular is extremely loadable and  surprisingly quiet. That is the result of decades of experience in the engine construction (since 1928). Rigidity and precision, which determine the result of working, are for GRElF engines a matter of course:

  • Thus the precision-polished and dynamically balanced motor shafts are taken up in grooved ball bearings, which are against each other employed as floating bearings and under axial spring tension. From this follow the lack of noise, the high life span and the precise cyclic testing.
  • The engines are interiorcooled, whereby air rolled over  by the rotor takes up and at the housing and stand wall delivers the warmth of  the stator. The worker is disturbed by no draft of air.
  • The width at the shaft end is so generously laid out that differently broad buffing wheels or brushes can be stretched. The width differences are bridged by spacer rings.

The further qualitative increases in value GREIF - double buffing machines:

  • ergonomically correct work height protected with all stand machines
  • stands from  best cast iron
  • precision-polished clamping flange
  • accommodation torque transfer
  • over key joint in the tension ring for diameters starting from 300 mm
  • buffing  wheel suit over thread on the inside and commercial center screw for by meter starting from 300 mm
  • holding of the polishing wave over largedimensioned tension ring with flats three-part crankshaft housing from best cast iron for sizes starting from 300 mm
  • all turned parts NCC-produced
  • lockable main switches with undervoltage release for sizes starting from 300 mm after DlN VDE 0113 Teil1
  • free from play against each other-placed, dust proof and maintenance-free roll stocks for noiseless run and long life
  • span functional and modern industrial design
  • high-quality PU 2-components lacquer finish fixed
  • winding from high-heat resistant lacked copperwire type W 180 according to DIN 46416 part of 5 for insulating class withstanding tropical conditions B according to VDE 0530 part 1
