More than only a ¨bench grinder¨

Guided by compulsion closed two-piece guards with constant generating angle of 55°!

By wearing the diameter of each grinding wheel decreases. Guard and workpiece support then must be regulated, as the suport always shall be set close to the grinding wheel (§ 9 Abs. 2 VBG 7 n6). In case of one-piece guard the generating angle gets bigger and the endangering of the worker by sparking and dusting grows correspondingly. GREIF technics is not satisfied with connection of an exhaus system of placing of protective glass. On the contrary GREIF also here offers an advanced solution:

The by compulsion gueded closing two-piece guard with unvarying generating angle. Upper and lower part of guard are connected each other via a hinge and additionally guided in an own nut in the guard holder. These nuts are not parallel each other but run one upon the other and by this cause the shears formed closing of the upper and lower part. The exhausting capacity is not derogated form the increasing separate air.
